Left: fish measured per season and year (how balanced the sampling is). Right: mean length by season and year, with the pooled annual mean (black) and the mean with equal season weights (dashed). Fish grow through the year, so later seasons have larger fish; when most samples come from one part of the year, the pooled mean follows that season, and a shift in the sampling season looks like a change in the stock.

Usage

plot_seasons(data, species = NULL, iter = 1, source = NULL)

species

species name; default the first.

iter

iteration(s); several iterations are overlaid (lines) or shown in rows (length samples).

source

fleets / survey to show; default all.

Value

a ggplot.
